Foods are Not Hormones

Foods and dietary supplements are not hrt. They do not have feminizing or masculinizing effects. The only way to effectively change hormone levels are to use chemicals that are proven to change hormone levels.

Red Meat Does Not Increase T

There are many myths about various foods increasing certain hormones - these hormones of course being estrogen or testosterone. Soy, vegetables, and white meat have all been touted as effective ways to increase estrogen and cause feminizing effects. Similarly red meat, raw animal products, milk, eggs, and being a bigot have been widely spread as possible ways to increase testosterone. All of these examples are of course absolutely incorrect. This may seem obvious, but it can be very easy to fall for this disinformation when your hormone levels are a great insecurity to yourself and cause psychological pain.

Herbs/Supplements are not Hormones

Supplements like ashwaganda are often said to be effective alternatives to androgens (masculinizing hormones). This is not true. Ashwaganda is a great example because it is possibly the most powerful and most androgenic supplement, with studies showing an increase in T. Even so it is still not androgenic enough to produce gains. This is very important - a large gain in test is needed to get a noticeable androgenic effect. An additional problem with supplements is that they can have many unwanted unknown effects which is dangerous. There are no supplements or herbal supplements that can meaningfully increase estrogens or androgens - if there were they would be prescribed. Don't spend time worrying about supplements, just focus on being healthy and you will get the best results. Take proven drugs if you want to safely and effectively alter your hormones.
